NSW: Twas the night before Christmas ...

SYDNEY, Dec 25 AAP - The wheels of justice continue turning in Sydney today at Parramatta
Bail Court where a 20-year-old man will appear charged over a Christmas eve home invasion.

Police say two men broke into an Ingleburn home, in Sydney's south-west, about 10pm
(AEDT) last night and threatened two men inside.

During a fight that followed the invasion, a 24-year-old man was stabbed in the chest,
police say.

The alleged victim will spend today in a stable condition in Liverpool Hospital.

A 20-year-old man arrested by police after a chase through backyards in Ingleburn has
been charged over the violent home invasion.

He will face Parramatta Bail Court today charged with aggravated break-and-enter, maliciously
inflicting grievous bodily harm, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

Police are still searching for a second man.
