NSW: Sydney residents suspect arson the cause of bushfires
West Pymble residents suspect arsonists started bushfires that threatened their homesin Sydney's north-west this evening.
Edenholme Street couple HAYDEN and JANET BLAKE heard an explosion across the valleyfrom their place and reckon it could have been somebody using petrol to start a fire.
Mr BLAKE has reported his suspicions to police.
Three fires around South Turramurra, North Epping and West Pymble are still givingauthorities cause for concern, despite a drop in the wind after dark.
